習近平指出，今年是中智建交55週年。55年前，兩國老一輩領導人高瞻遠矚，衝破冷戰陰霾，開創了新中國同南美國家建交先河。半個多世紀以來，無論國際風雲如何變化，中智關係這艘航船始終乘風破浪，引領中國同拉美國家關係發展潮流。中國和智利要不斷豐富兩國全面戰略夥伴關係的時代內涵，打造中拉共同發展樣板、南南合作典範，共同促進人類和平和進步事業。

習近平強調，中方願同智方夯實政治互信，堅持相互尊重、平等相待、互利共贏，加強治國理政經驗交流，在涉及彼此核心利益和重大關切問題上堅定相互支援，維護各自主權、安全、發展利益。雙方要落實好共建“一帶一路”合作規劃，深化農林牧漁、産業投資、基礎設施、綠色礦産等領域合作，培育天文、極地、人工智慧、生物醫藥、數字經濟等新增長點。中方支援更多中國企業赴智利投資興業，歡迎更多智利優質産品進入中國市場。雙方要加強文明互鑒，開展好教育、文化、媒體、青年等交流活動，便利人員往來，為兩國關係長遠發展奠定良好社會民意基礎。當前，國際形勢變亂交織，單邊主義、保護主義逆流涌動，對國際經貿秩序造成嚴重衝擊。作為多邊主義和自由貿易的堅定維護者，中智要加強多邊協作，捍衛全球南方共同利益。

博裏奇表示，智利高度重視對華關係。中國已成為智利最重要的貿易夥伴，雙方合作造福了兩國人民。智方將堅定奉行一個中國原則，期待與中方進一步拓展貿易、投資、人工智慧等領域合作，高品質共建“一帶一路”，密切人文交流，推動智中關係取得更多實實在在的成果。各國應堅持自由貿易和互利共贏，貿易不應只服務於一國私利，發動貿易戰沒有出路。智方願同中方一道，堅定捍衛多邊主義和聯合國權威，堅持通過對話解決分歧，共同維護國際公平正義。

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday met with Chilean President Gabriel Boric, who is in Beijing for the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC (the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum.

Noting that this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Xi said China and Chile should constantly enrich the connotation of their comprehensive strategic partnership, create a model of common development between China and Latin American countries, set a stellar example of South-South cooperation, and jointly promote the cause of peace and progress for humanity.

Xi said China is willing to work with Chile to consolidate political mutual trust, enhance exchanges of experience in governance, firmly support each other on issues concerning their core interests and major concerns, and safeguard each other's sovereignty, security and development interests.

Xi called on the two countries to implement the Belt and Road cooperation plan, deepen cooperation on agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, industrial investment, infrastructure and green minerals, and cultivate new growth points in astronomy, polar regions, artificial intelligence, biomedicine and digital economy.

China supports more Chinese enterprises in investing and doing business in Chile and welcomes more high-quality Chilean products to enter the Chinese market, he said.

He said both sides should enhance mutual learning among civilizations, carry out exchange activities in education, culture, media, and youth, and facilitate personnel exchanges.

As firm defenders of multilateralism and free trade, China and Chile should enhance multilateral collaboration to safeguard the common interests of the Global South, Xi added.

Noting that China has become Chile's most important trading partner, Boric said bilateral cooperation has benefited the two peoples.

He said Chile will firmly adhere to the one-China principle, and is ready to expand cooperation with China on trade, investment and artificial intelligence, jointly advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

All countries should adhere to free trade and mutual benefit and win-win results, and trade should not only serve the private interests of one country, Boric said, adding that waging a trade war leads nowhere.

Chile is willing to work with China to firmly safeguard multilateralism and the authority of the United Nations, insist on resolving differences through dialogue, and jointly uphold international fairness and justice, he said.

During his visit to China, the two sides signed a number of cooperation documents in fields such as economy, publishing, inspection and quarantine, media and think tanks.
