新華社北京7月9日電（記者梅常偉）中央軍委晉陞上將軍銜儀式9日在北京八一大樓舉行。中央軍委主席習近平出席晉銜儀式。

下午4時許，晉銜儀式在莊嚴的中華人民共和國國歌聲中開始。中央軍委副主席張又俠宣讀了中央軍委主席習近平簽署的晉陞上將軍銜命令。中央軍委副主席何衛東主持晉銜儀式。

習近平向晉陞上將軍銜的中央軍委政治工作部常務副主任何宏軍頒發命令狀，表示祝賀。佩戴了上將軍銜肩章的何宏軍向習近平敬禮，向參加儀式的全體同志敬禮，全場響起熱烈掌聲。

晉銜儀式在嘹亮的中國人民解放軍軍歌聲中結束。

中央軍委委員劉振立、苗華、張升民，軍委機關各部門、軍隊駐京有關單位主要負責同志等參加晉銜儀式。

BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), on Tuesday presented a certificate of order to promote a military officer to the rank of general, the highest rank for officers in active service in China.

The promoted officer is He Hongjun, executive deputy director of the Political Work Department of the CMC.

Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of the CMC, announced the order, which was signed by Xi, at a ceremony held for the promotion in Beijing. He Weidong, also CMC vice chairman, presided over the ceremony.

Xi extended his congratulations to the officer. ■
