The people's health is a key indicator of socialist modernization. Health bears on the happiness of every family and the future of the country and nation. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at the core has placed people's health at a strategic position of priority development, and taken well-rounded human development as a major goal. Through solidly promoting the construction of a healthy China, it has continuously painted a new picture of people's well-being in the new era.
In the course of achieving the Two Centenary Goals, public health has always been and will continue to be one of the foundations of all undertakings. It is inextricably linked with our country's overall development strategy and plays a strong supporting role.
