We will stay firmly rooted in Chinese culture. We will collect and refine the defining symbols and best elements of Chinese culture and showcase them to the world. We will accelerate the development of China’s discourse and narrative systems, better tell China’s stories, make China’s voice heard, and present a China that is credible, appealing, and respectable.

Amid the rising global economic conservatism, China adheres to the concept of openness and win-win cooperation, continues to expand the breadth and depth of opening up, and actively deepens multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms. Such efforts have not only injected stability and new momentum into global economic recovery and demonstrated its great sense of responsibility as a major country to promote development through opening up and seek win-win results through cooperation.
An ancient Chinese once observed: “One can tell the inside of a thing by observing its outside and see future development by reviewing the past.” For any country or nation to thrive, it must follow the logic of history and develop in line with the trend of the times. We in China will not lose our resolve to open wider at a high standard; we will not lose our determination to share development opportunities with the rest of the world; we will not lose our commitment to economic globalization that is more open , inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all.

Through benign interaction between “bringing in” and “going out” strategies, China has not only become a key hub of global industrial and supply chains, but also a stabilizer of world economic growth. From innovation in building pilot free trade zones to the deepened cooperation under the RCEP, the new system of open economy is injecting new impetus into the development of China and the world.
