We will accelerate the development of China’s discourse and narrative systems, better tell China’s stories, make China’s voice heard, and present a China that is credible, appealing, and respectable.

Based on the deep foundation of cultural confidence, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China places cultural development on the top of its agenda, simultaneously promoted the comprehensive prosperity of cultural undertakings and the innovative development of cultural industries, continuously activated the contemporary value of its excellent traditional culture, and optimized the supply of public cultural services and cultural products, making solid progress towards the goal of becoming a country with a strong culture through seeking innovation while maintaining traditions.
Culture is an important factor in advancing the Five-sphere Integrated Plan and the Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy. It is a fulcrum for high-quality development, an important element of our efforts to meet the people's growing expectation for a better life, and a source of strength in overcoming risks and challenges on our way ahead.
