Continuously promoting the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to a new level 

Hebei, located in the Central Plains, is a province surrounding Beijing, the capital of China. It has shown a great sense of responsibility and made remarkable achievements in the great journey of promoting the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the construction of Xiong’an New Area with high standards and high quality. The sense of responsibility and achievements are reflected not only in the formation and implementation of strategic plans for regional development, but also in the all-round promotion and deepening of cooperation in economic and social development.

The province’s investment in projects of more than 1 billion yuan increased by 35%, and its investment in high-tech industries increased by 28.5% year on year.

Xiong’an New Area has become an important engine for promoting investment. 

Hebei continues to implement the national policy of restoring and expanding consumption.

It has carried out campaigns such as the “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei consumption season” and “cars going to the countryside”, and accelerated the recovery of consumption in fields such as catering, accommodation, sports, and entertainment.

The province’s annual tourism revenue exceeded 1 trillion yuan, significantly exceeding the pre-COVID-19 level. 

Benefiting from its geographical proximity to the capital and its picturesque landscapes, Hebei has become a popular travel destination for Beijing residents on weekends. 

The construction of the headquarters of the first batch of relocated centrally administered state-owned enterprises in Xiong’an New Area is progressing smoothly. 

The construction of four relocated universities and the Peking University People’s Hospital (Xiong’an) commenced. 

The “three schools and one hospital” built with the assistance of Beijing were put into use. 

The province’s fixed asset investment throughout the year increased by 16%.

The 16-article talent attraction policy has received positive response.

The contracted value of technology transfer from Beijing and Tianjin to Hebei increased by 101.1% compared to the previous year. 

The Shijiazhuang-Cangzhou high-speed railway began operation. 

The Beijing-Xiong’an Expressway was completed. 

The Tianjin-Daxing Airport Intercity Railway and the Xingtai-Heshun Railway were completed and opened to traffic.
