學習繪本|一個國家、一個民族不能沒有靈魂

文化文藝和哲學社科，是一個民族的靈魂工程師。“一個國家、一個民族不能沒有靈魂”“人民是創作的源頭活水”“要有信仰、有情懷、有擔當”……對文化文藝事業、哲學社會科學事業，習近平總書記一直非常重視。

Writers, artists, philosophers and other cultural workers are engineers of the human soul. “Every country, every nation has a soul of its own”; “people are the source of inspiration for writers and artists;” “(those working in the literary, art, philosophy and social science circles) should be responsible, aim high, and have a deep love (for the country)”…all these remarks by General Secretary Xi Jinping show his attention and expectations on the development of China’s literature, arts, philosophy and social science.

人民是創作的源頭活水

The people are the source of inspiration for literary and artistic creations

文化文藝工作者要跳出“身邊的小小的悲歡”，走進實踐深處，觀照人民生活，表達人民心聲，用心用情用功抒寫人民、描繪人民、歌唱人民。

Our writers and artists should look beyond their own lives and go deeper into the lives of ordinary people to tell stories about them, listen to their voices, and celebrate their merits.

哲學社會科學工作者要走出象牙塔，多到實地調查研究，了解百姓生活狀況、把握群眾思想脈搏，著眼群眾需要解疑釋惑、闡明道理，把學問寫進群眾心坎裏。

People working in the philosophy and social science circles should look beyond their ivory tower and conduct extensive field research to see how people live and think, then address their doubts and concerns in a way that echoes their inner world. 

要解釋現實的社會問題

哲學社會科學包括文化文藝不接地氣不行，要解釋現實的社會問題，開什麼處方治什麼病，首先要把是什麼病搞清楚。要把好脈，中國身體怎麼樣，如果有病是什麼病，用什麼藥來治，對這心裏要透亮透亮的。

Philosophy, social sciences, literature, and art must respond to reality and analyze social problems. Before prescribing the right solutions for our country, we must first have an idea of its health and then identify the ailments and their causes.

把心思和精力放到創作精品上

Focus on creating fine works

沒有優秀作品，其他事情搞得再熱鬧、再花哨，那也只是表面文章、過眼煙雲。希望大家立足中國現實，植根中國大地，把當代中國發展進步和當代中國人精彩生活表現好展示好，把中國精神、中國價值、中國力量闡釋好。

It is fine works that count. All ostentatious activities are superficial and will soon be gone with the wind. I hope that based on China's actual conditions, you can create works that reflect our country's progress and our people's enriched lives, and demonstrate the spirit, values and strength of the Chinese nation.
