如果各國重新回到一個個自我封閉的孤島，人類文明就將因老死不相往來而喪失生機活力。

If countries choose to close their doors and hide behind them, human civilizations would be cut off from each other and lose all vitality. 

我們應該秉持平等和尊重，摒棄傲慢和偏見，加深對自身文明和其他文明差異性的認知，推動不同文明交流對話、和諧共生。

We need to deepen understanding of the difference between one's own civilization and others', and work to promote interaction, dialogue and harmony among civilizations.

文明交流互鑒應該是對等的、平等的，應該是多元的、多向的，而不應該是強制的、強迫的，不應該是單一的、單向的。我們應該以海納百川的寬廣胸懷打破文化交往的壁壘，以兼收並蓄的態度汲取其他文明的養分。

Such exchanges and mutual learning should be reciprocal, equal-footed, diversified and multi-dimensional; they should not be coercive, imposed, one-dimensional or one-way. We need to be broad-minded and strive to remove all barriers to cultural exchanges. We need to be inclusive and always seek nourishment from other civilizations.
