——2022年5月18日，在慶祝中國國際貿易促進委員會建會70週年大會暨全球貿易投資促進峰會上的講話

China is the largest developing country in the world. Since its founding in 1949, the People’s Republic of China has always demonstrated a spirit of internationalism and humanitarianism following and supporting other developing countries’ efforts to improve their people’s lives and achieve development. China entered a new era, after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 2012, President Xi Jinping has considered China’s responsibilities from a global perspective and proposed the vision of a global community of shared future and the Belt and Road Initiative. President Xi has taken advantage of many major international occasions to announce a broad range of cooperation measures. These present China’s approach, offer its vision and contribute its strength to resolving global development issues. 

The white paper “China's International Development Cooperation in the New Era” issued by the State Council Information Office in January 2021, pointed out:

中國是世界上最大的發展中國家，中華人民共和國成立以來，中國秉持國際主義和人道主義精神，始終關注和支援其他發展中國家改善民生，謀求發展的事業。中共十八大以來，中國發展進入新時代，習近平主席從全球視角思考責任擔當，提出構建人類命運共同體，共建“一帶一路”等新思想新倡議，為世界提出中國方案，貢獻中國智慧，注入中國力量。

2021年1月，國務院新聞辦公室發佈的《新時代的中國國際發展合作》白皮書指出：

During the summits commemorating the UN’s 70th anniversary in September 2015, President Xi announced that China would support “six 100 projects”for the next five years.

2015年9月，在聯合國成立70週年系列峰會期間，習近平主席宣佈5年內提供“6個100”項目支援。

At the First Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in 2017, President Xi announced that China would: provide assistance worth RMB60 billion to launch more projects to improve people’s wellbeing in the following three years; provide emergency food aid worth RMB2 billion; make an additional contribution of US$1 billion to the SSCAF; launch 100 “happy home” projects, 100 poverty alleviation projects, and 100 health care and rehabilitation projects; and provide relevant international organizations with US$1 billion.

在2017年首屆“一帶一路”國際合作高峰論壇上，習近平主席宣佈未來3年內提供600億元人民幣援助，建設更多民生項目；提供20億元人民幣緊急糧食援助，向南南合作援助基金增資10億美元，實施100個“幸福家園”、100個“愛心助困”、100個“康復助醫”等項目；向有關國際組織提供10億美元等一系列重要舉措。

In this day and age, the international community has evolved so much that it has become a sophisticated and integrated apparatus. Acts to remove any single part will cause serious problems to its operation. We need to embrace a global governance philosophy that emphasizes extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, promote the common values of humanity, and advocate exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations. We need to uphold true multilateralism, and firmly safeguard the international system with the UN at its core and the international order underpinned by international law. It is particularly important for major countries to lead by example in honoring equality, cooperation, good faith and the rule of law, and act in a way befitting their status.

國際社會發展到今天已經成為一部複雜精巧、有機一體的機器，拆掉一個零部件就會使整個機器運轉面臨嚴重困難，被拆的人會受損，拆的人也會受損。要踐行共商共建共用的全球治理觀，弘揚全人類共同價值，倡導不同文明交流互鑒。要堅持真正的多邊主義，堅定維護以聯合國為核心的國際體系和以國際法為基礎的國際秩序。大國尤其要作出表率，帶頭講平等、講合作、講誠信、講法治，展現大國的樣子。
