《習近平談治國理政》第三卷生動記錄了黨的十九大以來習近平總書記在領導推進新時代治國理政實踐中發表的一系列重要論述，全面系統反映了習近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想，集中展示了馬克思主義中國化的最新成果。關於促進人與自然和諧共生，總書記這樣説：

The third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China vividly records a series of important statements and speeches made by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, based on his experiences in state governance in the new era since the 19th CPC National Congress in 2017. It fully and systematically reflects Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and demonstrates the latest achievements in the Sinicization of Marxism. As for Harmony Between Humanity and Nature, General Secretary Xi said: 

我們應該追求人與自然和諧。

We should pursue harmony between humanity and nature.

山巒層林盡染，平原藍綠交融，城鄉鳥語花香。

Lush mountains, vast tracts of forest, blue skies, green fields, singing birds,and blossoming flowers offer more than visual beauty. 

這樣的自然美景，既帶給人們美的享受，也是人類走向未來的依託。

They are the basis for our future development. 

無序開發、粗暴掠奪，人類定會遭到大自然的無情報復；

Nature punishes those who exploit and plunder it brutally, 

合理利用、友好保護，人類必將獲得大自然的慷慨回報。

and rewards those who use and protect it carefully.

我們要維持地球生態整體平衡，讓子孫後代既能享有豐富的物質財富，

We must maintain the overall balance of the Earth's ecosystems,not only to ensure that future generations can continue to access material wealth, 

又能遙望星空、看見青山、聞到花香。

but also to protect their right to enjoy the wonders of the natural world.

我們應該追求綠色發展繁榮。

We ought to achieve economic prosperity.through green development. 

綠色是大自然的底色。

Green is the color of nature. 

我一直講，綠水青山就是金山銀山，

I have always said that clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets, 

改善生態環境就是發展生産力。

and that eco-environmental improvement leads to greater productivity, 

良好生態本身蘊含著無窮的經濟價值，

Healthy ecosystems promise boundless economic potential, 

能夠源源不斷創造綜合效益，實現經濟社會可持續發展。

generate steady returns and contribute to economic and social sustainability.

我們應該追求熱愛自然情懷。

We need to foster a love of nature. 

“取之有度，用之有節”，是生態文明的真諦。

Well measured exploration and use of resources is the key to eco-environmental progress. 

我們要倡導簡約適度、綠色低碳的生活方式，拒絕奢華和浪費，形成文明健康的生活風尚。

We Should encourage a healthy lifestyle that is simple, green and low-carbon, and reject extravagant and excessive practices. 

要倡導環保意識、生態意識，

Additionally it is essential to raise people's awareness of environmental and ecological protection, 

構建全社會共同參與的環境治理體系，

and develop an environmental governance system in which the whole of society participates, 

讓生態環保思想成為社會生活中的主流文化。

so that the eco-environment will become a primary focus of daily life. 

要倡導尊重自然、愛護自然的綠色價值觀念，

We need to advocate the value of green development grounded in respect and care for nature

讓天藍地綠水清深入人心，形成深刻的人文情懷。

so that blue skies, green fields and clear waters will be deeply cherished by all.

我們應該追求科學治理精神。

We should adopt a sound approach. 

生態治理必須遵循規律，科學規劃，因地制宜，統籌兼顧，

In environmental governance we should follow the laws of nature, make holistic and well-informed plans, do what is appropriate in light of local circumstances,

打造多元共生的生態系統。

and create harmonious ecosystems in which all elements coexist in tandem with each other. 

只有賦之以人類智慧，地球家園才會充滿生機活力。

Human wisdom is essential to sustaining the dynamism of the Earth, our common homeland. 

生態治理，道阻且長，行則將至。

Although environmental governance is an arduous task, we will ultimately obtain the expected results as long as we take the right steps. 

我們既要有只爭朝夕的精神，更要有持之以恒的堅守。

We must press ahead with a sense of urgency and perseverance to achieve our goals.

我們應該追求攜手合作應對。

We need to join hands to meet common challenges. 

建設美麗家園是人類的共同夢想。

A beautiful homeland is the shared aspiration of humanity. 

面對生態環境挑戰，人類是一榮俱榮、一損俱損的命運共同體，沒有哪個國家能獨善其身。

In the face of environmental challenges, all countries are a community with a common stake, and no country can remain aloof. 

唯有攜手合作，我們才能有效應對氣候變化、海洋污染、生物保護等全球性環境問題，

Only together can we effectively address climate change, marine pollution, biological conservation and other global environmental issues, 

實現聯合國2030年可持續發展目標。

and achieve the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

只有並肩同行，才能讓綠色發展理念深入人心、全球生態文明之路行穩致遠。

Only concerted efforts cal dive home the idea of green development and bring about steady Progress in building a global eco-civilization.
