黨內民主是指在中國共産黨黨內生活中，黨員根據黨章和黨的其他規定，在平等的基礎上，按照有關程式和形式，對黨的事務參與、決策與管理。黨內民主包括民主選舉、民主決策、民主管理、民主監督等，黨內民主制度包括黨的代表大會制度、集體領導制度、黨內選舉制度、維護黨員民主權利制度、黨內監督制度等形式。黨內民主是由黨的性質、黨的宗旨和黨的世界觀決定的。

Intra-Party Democracy

Hi! Welcome to“About China”. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China （CPC）. In today’s program, we will talk about “Intra-Party Democracy”.

Intra-Party democracy involves CPC members participating in the decision-making and management of Party affairs on an equal footing and in accordance with the Constitution of the CPC and other Party regulations. Intra-Party democracy is exercised through democratic election, decision making, management and supervision. This is guaranteed by the systems of Party congress, collective leadership, intra-Party election, intra-Party supervision, and the system that protects Party members' democratic rights. Intra-Party democracy is determined by the nature, mission and world view of the CPC.
