We will stay firmly rooted in Chinese culture. We will collect and refine the defining symbols and best elements of Chinese culture and showcase them to the world. We will accelerate the development of China’s discourse and narrative systems, better tell China’s stories, make China’s voice heard, and present a China that is credible, appealing, and respectable.

Harmony Between Man and Nature
Hi! Welcome to“About China”. In today’s program, we will talk about "Harmony Between Man and Nature" .
Preserving and protecting the natural environment is vital to China’s survival. This is why harmony between man and nature has been made one of the basic policies for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
The report to the 19th National Congress stressed that it is important to understand that“green mountains are gold mountains,” and this understanding must be put into practice that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets and act on this understanding. As part of our basic national policy, we will step up efforts to conserve resources and protect the environment in the same manner as we protect our own lives. A holistic approach is critical to conservation programs aimed at protecting our mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, and grasslands. Most stringent measures are necessary for fragile ecosystems. We will ensure that economic growth and prosperity will not come at the expense of the environment. Environmental considerations will always inform our development efforts. We will continue to implement the Beautiful China initiative and create a better working and living environment for the people. In so doing, we are also contributing to global ecological security.
Did you get it?
