Fengming Mountain Scenic Area, also known as Xiangu Cave. Located in the 4 kilometers southeast of Fenghui Town, Shangyu County, it is 16.5 kilometers away from urban area. The mountain area are about 5 square kilometers, and the south is surrounded by Bailou Mountain with towering peaks. It is adjacent to the scenic spot of Siming Lake in Yuyao City, which is a part of Siming mountain. In the west is Zhujiazhuang, the hometown of Zhu Yingtai, in the story of “Liang Zhu”. The village of Huanzhu, which is 1km from the mountains, is the hometown of Mengchang, a famous historical hero in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Dongxi Village, 4.5km southwest of the town, is a retreat place of the adviser Fan Li of Yue in the Spring and Autumn Period, who was ever described by the poem“Going out the Three Rivers Then going into the Five Lakes”. It has a Tao-Zhu Temple. There are many gentle slopes and wide valleys in the scenic spot. The mountains are connected with mountains, huge rocks, splashing waters, and dense forests, consists a good natural ecological environment.

Fengming Mountain is rich in history and culture, and it is home to the “Ninth Cave” of Taoist culture which is known as the “blessed paradise”. It has been a tourist attraction since ancient times, and now it has formed ten scenic spots in Fengming mountain, including the waterfalls of the Hanging Stones and the ancient vines of the Millennium(also known as Guoshanlong), this two are spectacle and are an integral part of the provincial Scenic Area of Cao'e River. In the fifties, China's first color film "Butterfly lovers" was taken here.

Fengmingdong Waterfall is located on Fengming Mountainside in Fenghui Town, hence it was given a name called “Fengming”. It is also said that a long time ago, a woman practiced here to be a fairy finally, hence the name was also called “Xian'gu”. It is also said that Eastern Han Dynasty Wei Boyang was practicing alchemy here, and he left when he finally did it. This stone cave is a huge crack on the cliff of the Mountain. Because of the moves of mountains or the erosion of flowing water, the cave mouth can only accommodate one or two people at the same time. The mountain spring in the cave splashes down from the top of more than 10 meters high, and the mist is misty, that forms a waterfall.
