On the first day of the launch, the Foreign Experts Bureau of Zhejiang issued a confirmation letter for foreign high-end talents from 6 top foreign experts, including academicians, professors and other top experts from Belarus, Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Japan. They were hired by Zhejiang Shuren University, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and local employers in Ningbo and Shaoxing.

The top talents of Zhejiang's first batch of confirmation letters from foreign high-end talents can be sent to embassies and consulates abroad for 5 to 10 years and multiple entry visa (R visa), enjoying the longest stay of 180 days. Their spouses and minor children will also obtain the same type of visa with the same period of validity and multiple entry.

“With the continuous deepening of overseas talent recruitment work, Zhejiang has focused on the introduction of foreign talent from the past to the introduction of work and service.” Provincial Bureau of foreign experts told reporters, Zhejiang province will provide a full range of services and support for entrepreneurial talent visa holders of foreign high-end talent to Zhejiang innovation, open up “Easy Access”, strengthen coordination and cooperation, ensure the qualification, visa, immigration and work permit, residence and so on each link smoothly to improve the service level.

It is understood that colleges and universities in Zhejiang, research institutes, state-owned enterprises, transnational corporations and other types of units are actively applying for talent visa for foreign high-end talents.
