CNCAO NEWS  On the evening of February 27, after nearly 24 hours of flight, the sixth China(Zhejiang) peacekeeping force in south Sudan, composed of seven Zhejiang civilian police officers, was victorious. It has successfully completed a one-year peacekeeping mission to south Sudan, which is also the most dangerous peacekeeping mission in Zhejiang province.

In February 2017, according to the deployment of the ministry of public security, the public security organs of Zhejiang province alone formed the sixth Chinese peacekeeping force in south Sudan. It is the second civilian peacekeeping force sent by the Zhejiang provincial public security bureau. Seven peacekeeping police departments are from all over the province of a good soldier of selected character, respectively is: Zhejiang peacekeeping police captain, Zhejiang police academy anti-terrorism Wei Yiyi, deputy director of the peacekeeping police vice captain, deputy chief of immigration department of Jiashan county public security bureau of Jiaxing city He Bin. The team members are Wu Xiaobing, the deputy instructor of the basic unit of wenzhou municipal public security bureau, Fan Zhenquan, Taizhou public security bureau special police detachment patrol director of the section chief, Han Zhuoqi, Hangzhou municipal public security bureau Shangcheng branch exit and entry management team vice-captain, Zhang Qun, instructor of the oblique bridge police station of Haining public security bureau and Shen Shengbiao, civil police officer of Ningbo public security bureau.

Wei Zixuan, the daughter of captain Wei Yiyi, has been in the first grade this year. “South Sudan is in Africa and is very hot, sometimes even to 50 ℃, my father is to maintain world peace, I am proud of him, but I was also worried that dad would get hurt.." Wei Zixuan told reporter.

For more than a year, the peacekeeping force from Zhejiang has overcome the extreme conditions of the harsh natural environment in south Sudan, the harsh living conditions and the very serious security situation. In addition to the completion of various refugee camps, humanitarian assistance and community policing activities, in all kinds of special operations, they have withstood the severe test, demonstrated the professional ability of Chinese peacekeeping police, and showed the style of Zhejiang police as the "vanguard".

On November 30, 2017, the United Nations mission in south Sudan south Sue group on behalf of the United Nations awarded the United Nations "medal of peace" to the sixth Chinese peacekeeping force in south Sudan in Juba, the capital of south Sudan, in recognition of their peacekeeping mission in south Sudan made outstanding contributions.
