Millennium ancient village of zoumatang is located in the south of Ningbo, Yinzhou district Mao shan. It is called "the Siming ancient county, the state of literature, it has the victory of Jiangshan and the prosperity of water and land".

　　There are many ancient buildings in the village, and there are many historical relics and historic buildings. In the past dynasties, there were 76 Jinshi from here, known as "China's first Jinshi village". There are more than 1,500 people in total now, all of them are Chen. According to historical records, it was built in the northern Song dynasty (988 AD). Chen came here to live from Changzhou, Jiangsu province, and had been there for more than a thousand years.

　　The whole village is surrounded by water, and the waterways are well connected. There was a pond Hongfanqiaoyin in the village, which is the center of the waterway convergence, and there were a one thousand years old tree besides it. The Ming dynasty buildings in the village still have eight, the Qing dynasty architecture is everywhere. Three other buildings of the republic of China were also typical. The carved art of the stone flower window is amazing. All the 76 ancient buildings in the village have their own characteristics. What is more important is that the village is not fully developed, the local people are plain and you can learn local customs and historical culture through communication with the villagers.
