Because the place where the rich live long ago, the architecture inside has a notable feature: the threshold is very high, and it has more than one foot, and it is made of the whole stone. The civil houses of Shaoxiang Harbor basically retain the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the river is very long, stone revetment inlaid with a stone in the river port; the alley in the chain houses can reach rivers and fields, the winding path leads to a secluded quiet place. Along the north of Harbor has the Li’s big family alley, small alley, Ni’s alley, In the south of Harbor has Fenbin alley.
