The original name of Tongtian flying waterfall is “Gexian Cave”, it gets its name because the famous Taoist theorist, medical scientist and alchemist, Gehong in the eastern Jin dynasty did alchemy here. The scenic area consists of mountain, cave, water, forest and stone. The natural ecology is very beautiful and there is the mystery of fairy water, fairy grass, fairy wind and fairy air. The cave has been developed for 300 million years, and belongs to Karst underground river cave.

The whole cave is more than 20,000 square meters and is a vertical hole composed of a poor, two springs, three rivers, six waterfalls, five verandas and six halls. The total length of the tour is 3500 meters, developed 1,500 meters of ground level in the first period, the gap between the roof and the ground is 128 meters. It is characterized by "strange, dangerous, waterfall" natural landscape and natural air conditioning. Among them, the "Tongtian flying waterfall" falls by more than 120 meters, which is the only "waterfall in the cave" in east China. The whole cave is a museum of Karst geology, which is a special tourism project integrating sightseeing, exploration and leisure.
