江山月亮湖是國家水利風景區、浙江省愛國主義教育基地、國家級蜂業示範區、國家級蜂産品基地。因坐落在江山最有名的太陽山下，取陰陽對應和山水相映成趣而得名。

Jiangshan Moon Lake is the National Water Conservancy Scenic Area, patriotism education base of Zhejiang Province, national demonstration area of Bee Industry and base of national Bee Products. It was named as Moon Lake because it is located at the foot of most famous Sun Mountain in Jiangshan, took correspondence of Yin and Yang and took echoes with landscape.

　　江山月亮湖又名碗窯水庫，坐落于江山市碗窯鄉。碗窯水庫飲用水源保護區面積216069畝，其中林地178445畝，佔比達到82.6%,省級重點公益林118838畝，佔比達到55%。

Jiangshan Moon Lake, also known as Wanyao Reservoir, is located in Jiangshan Wanyao Country. The protection area of drinking water source of Wanyao Reservoir is 216069 mu, of which the forest area is 178445 mu, accounting for 82.6%.And the provincial major public welfare forest is 118838 mu, accounting for 55%.

　　江山月亮湖由主體及大龍灣、青龍灣、金龍灣、龍須灣、光陽灣、洋廣灣、深渡灣及桃花峽、七里峽七大湖灣兩大湖峽組成。湖內，在七灣二峽二十四島的天地靈氣孕育下，月亮湖眾多景觀脫穎而出。

The Moon Lake consists of seven great lake bays and two great lake gorges which are a main body and Dalong Bay, Qinglong Bay, Jinlong Bay, Longxu Bay, Guangyang Bay, Yangguang Bay, Shendu Bay, Taohua Gorge and Qili Gorge. In the Lake, under the heaven and earth nurture of seven bays, two gorges, twenty-four islands, the landscape of Moon Lake stood out among many scenery.

　　江山月亮湖，水域面積10平方公里，有7大湖灣24島，最大的野趣島108畝。島嶼大小不一，形態各異。58.77公里的湖岸線迂迴曲折，極富變化。湖面開闊，山川秀美，空氣清新，有“水上天然氧吧”之美譽。

The water area of Moon Lake is 10 square kilometers with 7 great lake bays and 24 islands.The largest Yequ Island is 108 mu. The islands are in different sizes and different shapes.58.77-kilometers shoreline has many twists and turns with great changes. The lake is open, beautiful with fresh air so it has a reputation of "water natural oxygen bar".

　　豐富的自然景觀和厚重的人文歷史與建設文化融為一體，構成月亮湖旅遊中最佳的，最富有生命力的文化框架。
