北京時間10月30日，在廣州舉行的世界城市日-全球城市競爭力論壇上，中國社科院財經戰略研究院和聯合國人類住區規劃署發佈了《全球城市競爭力報告2017-2018》，報告發佈了未來“新型全球城市”排名。“新型全球城市”50強中，有6個中國城市上榜，除北京、深圳、上海、廣州四個一線城市外，杭州、香港也上榜，杭州也是唯一入圍的新一線城市，在50強中排名第25位。

　　相對於對現有存量實力的比較，“新型全球城市”的排名更多反映城市的未來潛力，其綜合了2017年各個城市最具價值的品牌數量和近年來的變化情況來對城市進行排名。

　　目前，杭州正處在後峰會、前亞運的關鍵時期。隨著阿里巴巴、吉利等一批世界性企業的崛起，杭州在世界城市中的競爭力不斷增強，被譽為中國“矽谷”。

　　據悉，此次報告還對全球1007個城市的經濟競爭力和可持續競爭力進行了排名。在全球經濟競爭力指數排名中，我國深圳、香港、上海、廣州、北京入圍全球20強，杭州排名第74位；在可持續競爭力排名中，杭州排名第101位。

It is reported that the report also ranked 1007 cities in the world in terms of economic competitiveness and sustainable competitiveness.
