江心嶼，AAAA級國家名勝風景區，現有面積1070畝，位於溫州市區北面甌江中游，呈東西長、南北狹的形狀，屬於中國四大名嶼。該嶼風景秀麗，東西雙塔淩空，映襯江心寺，歷來被稱為“甌江蓬萊”。歷代著名詩人謝靈運、孟浩然、韓愈、陸游、文天祥等都曾相繼留跡江心嶼。千百年來文人留有嘆咏江心嶼著名詩章近800篇。

Jiang Xin Yu, the national AAAA tourist attraction couvers an area of 1070 mu. It is located in the middle reaches of Oujiang River which lies in the north of Wenzhou and it is long from east to west and narrow from south to north. It is one of the four famous island in China. The island has a beautiful scenery and its tow pagodas in the east and west rise high into the air and they are against the background of Jiangxin Temple. It is always being called ‘ Oujiang Penglai.’ Xie Linyun, Meng Haoran, Hanyu, Luyou, Wen Tianxiang and other of ancient poets were all left traces in Jiangxin Island. There are almost 800 famous poems praising Jiangxin Island written by literati in the past thousand years.

　　1997年江心嶼的東西雙塔被國際航標組織列為世界百座歷史文物燈塔之一。國際航標協會正式宣佈其為世界航標遺産。

In 1997, the two pagodas in the island had been listed as one of world's 100 historical relics lighthouses by the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities(IALA). IALA had announced it as the world heritage of navigation mark.
