中國網浪潮資訊 9月1日，作者從支付寶獲悉直接通過刷臉即可支付功能在杭州萬象城內的肯德基KPRO餐廳上線，整個支付過程不到10秒。這也是刷臉支付在全球範圍內的首次商用試點。

　　其實，早在2015年的漢諾威電子展後不久，支付寶便率先推出了刷臉登錄以及刷臉認證。螞蟻金服CTO程立表示，通過兩年來的努力，支付寶的人臉識別技術在安全性、可靠性、用戶體驗上都得到了大幅提升，已服務數億用戶，併入選了《MIT科技評論》2017年全球十大突破性技術。

Cheng Li, the CTO of Ant Financial said, through two years of efforts, the Face Recognition Technology of Alipay has been greatly improved in safety, reliability and user experience, hundreds of millions of users have been served, and it was selected as the top 10 breakthrough technology in the world in 2017 by the MIT Technology Review.

　　目前，支付寶刷臉技術的誤識率已降至十萬分之一。程立強調，支付寶之所以敢將該技術商業化，是有足夠的底氣的，“而即便出現賬戶被冒用的極小概率事件，支付寶也會通過保險公司全額賠付。”

　　刷臉支付的落地，意味著又多了一種新的支付方式，這也意味著人機交互進入到一個新的階段。在未來用刷臉完成檢票、安檢等行為也變成了可能。中科院自動化所生物識別與安全技術研究中心主任李子青表示，刷臉支付的商業應用意味著生物識別技術正在進入一個新的時代。
