　　南北湖風景區是我國唯一融山、海、湖為一體的景區，位於杭州灣北岸海鹽縣境內，是浙江省第一批省級風景名勝區，浙江十大“最佳休閒度假勝地”之一，國家AAAA級旅遊景區。

Nanbei Lake Beauty Spot is the only scenic spot integrated mountain, sea and lake in China. It’s located in the north coast of Hangzhou Bay, Haiyan County, is the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots in Zhejiang, one of the top ten "best place for leisure and vacation" of Zhejiang,  and national AAAA level traveling scenic area.

　　南北湖山圍湖而立，海仗山湖而依，湖光、山色、海景相互映襯。我國古園林專家陳從周教授盛讚其“山有層次，水有曲折，海有奇景，比瘦西湖逸秀，比西子湖玲瓏，能兼兩者之長”。景區總面積約45平方公里，由湖塘、山林、海濱、古城四大景區組成，擁有豐富的自然資源和人文景觀。核心區兩湖面積1800畝，三面環山，一面臨海，湖形曲折。湖中有白鷺洲，蝴蝶島，這湖邊山，湖中堤，湖內島，自然別致，相得益彰。南北湖的美是閒淡的，有山水，有田園，有農家，成片的茶園、果樹，竹林，透著濃厚的山野氣息，以其閒雅野趣保留了江南一片真山水。

There are Egret Island, Butterfly Island, The Lake Mountain, Lake Embankment, Lake Island, in the lake, which is natural and unique, complement each other. The beauty of Nanbei Lake is leisure, landscapes, countryside, farmers, a piece of tea, fruit trees, bamboo, with a strong mountain atmosphere.It has preserved the true landscape of jiangnan, with its leisure and interest.

　　南北湖正文化、生態、濕地為亮點，“觀光、休閒、度假、商務、人居”為主要功能，成為長三角核心區著名的文化休閒勝地。

　　南北湖，又名永安湖，宋時已成為遠近聞名的旅遊場所。據宋《澉水志》載：“永安湖在鎮西南五里，周圍一十二里。四圍皆山，中間小堤，春時遊人競渡行樂，號為小西湖。”可見當時已頗受人們喜愛，每年春秋時節，不管是達官貴人、文人雅士，或是布衣百姓，都鍾情于這方山水，盡情遊玩，飽覽湖光、山色、海景。歷史上形成了鷹窠晴雪、湖海山居等 “前八景”、“後八景”、“續八景”。

　　南北湖地處長三角中心地帶，滬杭高速公路，滬杭平安大道以及乍嘉蘇高速公路穿境而過，杭州灣跨海大橋、杭浦高速公路的建成通車，大大縮短了南北湖與各大城市的距離，與上海、杭州、寧波、蘇州形成了“一小時的交通圈”。南北湖也一躍成為四座城市交匯的中心樞紐，交通區位優勢更加顯現。

Nanbei Lake is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta, the Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, Shanghai Hangzhou Peace Avenue and Zha Jiasu Highway passing it through. The completion of the Hangzhou Bay Sea-Crossing Bridge and Hangzhou-Pu Highway has greatly shortened the distance between Nanbei Lake and the major cities, formed an hour of traffic circle with Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Suzhou. Nanbei Lake has also become the centar hub of the four cities, the advantages of traffic location are more evident.
