被譽為“天下第一名社”的西泠印社址坐落于浙江省杭州市西湖景區孤山南麓。是中國最重要的金石篆刻協會之一，國家級非物質文化遺産。

The Xiling Seal Arts Society, dubbed as the “best society in the world”,is on the western side of Gushan Mountain in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. It is one of China's most important traditional stone seal engraving associations, a key National Relics Preservation Unit and its engraving a national intangible cultural heritage.

　　西泠印社，創建於1904年，由浙派篆刻家丁輔之、王福庵、吳隱、葉為銘等召集同人發起創建，吳昌碩為第一任社長。近年來，包括日本，南韓和新加坡等許多來自海外的許多印學家每年都在這裡一起探討研究。

The society was founded in 1904 by Ding Ren, Wang Shi, Ye Ming and Wu Yin, with its first president being Wu Changshuo, a famous seal master. These days, many artists from overseas, including Japan, South Korea and Singapore, come every year to get together with society members to discuss the art form.（來源：浙江省人民政府網）
