中國網浪潮資訊  近日，亞馬遜前資深主任科學家（Senior Principal　Scientist）任小楓宣佈加盟阿里巴巴，成為人工智慧技術研發核心團隊iDST的首席科學家和副院長。

CNCAO NEWS Recently, Xiaofeng Ren, the former Senior Principal Scientist of Amazon, announced to join the Alibaba, and became the chief scientist and associate dean of iDST, the core team of artificial intelligence research and development.

　　iDST（Institute　of　Data　Science　and　Technologies）是阿里巴巴負責人工智慧技術研發的核心團隊，成立於2014年，由一批傑出的科學家及工程師組成，分佈在杭州、北京、西雅圖、矽谷等地。

iDST（Institute　of　Data　Science　and　Technologies）, the core team of artificial intelligence research and development, was established in 2014. It consists of a group of distinguished scientists and engineers who are located in Hangzhou, Beijing, Seattle, Silicon Valley and so on.

　　現年42歲的任小楓是中國籍美國永久居民。他從2003年開始任職于亞馬遜無人零售店Amazon Go部門，領導電腦視覺演算法團隊。是亞馬遜最年輕的資深主任科學家之一。

Xiaofeng Ren, 42, is a permanent resident of the United States with Chinese nationality. He has worked in Amazon Go, the Amazon unmanned retail store since 2003, and lead the computer vision algorithms team. He is one of the Amazon's youngest senior principal scientists.

　　在阿里巴巴給媒體的回復中，阿裏iDST團隊盛讚任小楓“在電腦視覺領域中對圖像分類，物體識別、跟蹤、檢測，事件檢測均有全面且深入的理解，這在圖像領域的專家中非常難得。”

In reply to the media from Alibaba, iDST team praised Xiaofeng Ren that he had a comprehensive and in-depth understanding in the field of computer vision, which includes image classification, object recognition, tracking, detection, event detection, which was very rare in experts in this field.

　　另據了解，阿里巴巴正加快招徠技術人才的步伐。過去一年間，在阿里巴巴整個集團技術線新員工中，來自海外知名網際網路公司的技術人才佔總數近30%。

It is also understood that Alibaba is speeding up the pace of attracting technical talents. In the past year, the number of skilled personnel from overseas well-known Internet Co accounted for nearly 30% among new employee of Alibaba technical line.
