　　5月21日，浙江省委書記車俊在浙江大學建校120週年紀念大會上發表講話時説，浙江比以往任何時候都更加需要強有力的科技、人才支撐和實施教育、人才強省戰略。

　　此前一天，江蘇省委書記李強在首屆江蘇發展大會上作主旨演講時表示，江蘇的發展比任何時候都需要人才、渴求人才，“我們將致力打造具有世界影響的人才集聚高地，讓更多人才加入到江蘇發展中來”。

　　車俊指出，要高標準、寬視野、大氣魄地推進學校建設和改革，打造出一批世界一流學科，匯聚一批世界一流大師、創造一批世界一流成果、培養一批世界一流人才，早日躋身世界一流大學行列；緊密結合浙江省委省政府重點工作、群眾和經濟社會發展需求，全面提升人才培養、科學研究、成果轉化和社會服務水準，在浙江改革發展實踐中發揮更大作用。

　　Che Jun pointed out that we should promote the construction and reform of school with high standard, wide field of vision and great verve to build a number of world-class disciplines, bring a batch of world-class masters together, create a batch of world-class achievements, and train a batch of world-class talents, to be the top universities of the world as soon as possible. 　　李強表示，江蘇發展最突出的優勢、最可依賴的支撐，就是科教人才。“為推動科教人才優勢轉化為發展的現實優勢，我們堅持把創新驅動發展作為核心戰略，把科教與人才強省作為基礎戰略，省市縣都實施了一系列人才培養引進計劃，努力聚天下英才而用之。”他説。

　　據浙江媒體報道稱，這兩位書記此前曾多次在公開場合發表對人才的看法，表現對人才培養的高度重視。
