近日，國務院作出決定表彰全國13個公安機關先進模範集體，杭州市公安局交通警察支隊機動大隊被光榮地授予“模範交警隊”榮譽稱號，這也是浙江省唯一獲此殊榮的公安集體。

　　據介紹，杭州交警建隊45年間，310余名中外元首和政府首腦來杭，機動大隊悉數予以圓滿保障，無一齣現紕漏，先後完成了2萬餘批次警衛開道、4600余場次重要會議和重大活動的交通安保工作，交出亮麗工作單的同時也贏得了充分肯定。僅近5年，年均完成3級(含)以上交通警衛任務及重大會議交通保衛任務就達2000余批(次)以上。
