7th Cherry Blossom Festival to kick off in the end of March

As cherry blossoms fade in other places, here they quietly bloom. This is the unique romance and scenery of this new coastal city. On March 30th, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Haijing District will once again commence at the Ten Mile Sakura Garden.

Cherry Blossom Fun Run, Cherry Blossom Market, Cherry Blossom Special Train, Ouhai Food Festival, Rowing Performance, Sakura-themed Blind Date, City Orienteering Race... To refresh the cherry blossom festival experience, this year's Haijing District Cherry Blossom Festival has been upgraded compared to previous years. From traveling to admire cherry blossoms to savoring life, the festival has introduced numerous"cherry blossom +" elements, creating a diversified and delightful atmosphere for visitors.

The Ten Mile Sakura Garden is one of the landmark attractions in the Haijing District. Construction began in 2016, and it was opened to the public in 2018. The Sakura Corridor in the Ten Mile Sakura Garden covers approximately 75.26 hectares of landscape greening area, featuring various types of cherry blossoms such as Somei Yoshino, Kanzan, Weeping Cherry, and Autumn Cherry. With the weather warming up, the cherry blossoms in the garden will gradually bloom, and it is expected to reach its peak blossom viewing period by mid-April.

On the opening day, the traditional Cherry Blossom Fun Run from previous cherry blossom festivals will kick off with joy. This year, the organizers have put a lot of effort into route planning and supporting services, hoping to allow running enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the joy of sports amidst the sea of flowers.

Different forms of new floral landscapes and leisure green spaces will bring more park enjoyment for visitors. By the Oujin River，with a white canopy hanging above and tea brewing under the shade of greenery, you allow life to slow down and savor the pleasure of nature.
