孟凡:許多年前,究竟是什麼原因促使您做出了與SAGA這一原有的體系分離,轉而自立門戶的決定呢?這一決定對哥本哈根皮草的意義何在?
托本:做出離開SAGA的決定並不輕鬆,畢竟此前雙方已經合作50年了。作為一個合作社性質的企業,SAGA包括4個成員,也就是4家北歐地區的養殖戶協會。由於這些成員彼此經歷的發展階段迥然不同,因此在制定共同戰略方面,這樣的組織架構變得越來越費力。董事會成員之間的討論也日漸消極,因此當時必須對此做出一個決定。我們決定用哥本哈根皮草這個名稱自己做市場推廣,這個決定無疑是正確的。對於SAGA和哥本哈根皮草來説,很多負能量最終都被轉換成了正能量。最重要的是,雙方分開後的合作變得更為密切,包括在行業內政治領域的合作。如今,我們在行業政策方面合作良好,同時在商業領域則保持競爭。
It was no easy decision to leave SAGA after 50 years of cooperation. SAGA was a cooperative with 4 members, namely the 4 Nordic farmer organizations. It was a difficult construction because the members had gone through four very different phases of development and therefore it was getting increasingly difficult to define a common strategy. The debates on the board became increasingly negative and it was therefore time to do something conclusive about it. We chose to start our own marketing under the name of Kopenhagen Fur. In every way, it was a good decision, because a lot of negative energy was transformed into positive energy both in SAGA and Kopenhagen Fur. But more importantly, the divorce meant that the Finns and we got a much better cooperation, including cooperation on the trade political field. Today, we have a perfect cooperation in the field of trade policy, but remain fierce competitors in the commercial area.
