Chengdu hi-tech industrial zone hunts talents from around the world

The Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone(CDHT)published a list of 58 posts to employ professionals and talents from around the world to fill them on April 12,with the annual salary of each post surpassing 1 million yuan($145,400).

The CDHT rolled a policy in February last year providing a subsidy as much as 20 million yuan each for the talents it hunts,who are expected to help the zone to strengthen its industry chain and make breakthroughs in key industries and technologies.And it detailed how to apply for the subsidy on April 12 as well.

Representatives of relevant enterprises said that,with the strong supports of the government,they are becoming more confident to attract talents to fill their vacancies,which concentrate in electronic information,bio-medicine and industries related to digital economy,etc.

To help the talents to resolve some difficulties in daily life,such as housing,medical care and education of their children,the CDHT launched an online platform in February through which they can directly access relevant policies,services and communicate with the government departments that are in charge of helping them deal with these problems.
