The mountains are hidden from sight by a trail of clouds but they start to appear after the cold breeze of the night. The pine trees on the peaks are ushering dawn in. This painting "Strong Wind Lifting the Haze" was created by Li Bing, one of the most valuable landscape painters in contemporary collection and investment. His works display the original alpine landscape — which may actually be chilly — but managed to warm the heart of the viewers.
Li Bing

His paintings on the theme of “Snow Mountain in the Western Regions" have become a school of their own. His original "block axe chapped" and "squeeze white" and "contrast white" methods of dyeing snow have led to a new variety of ice and snow landscape painting. Thus, he’s been tagged as the founder and leader of Chinese ink and snow mountain painting.
