Located on Changbin Road in Yuzhong District, Dongchu Section is adjacent to Chaotianmen and is an important riverfront showcase interface for the city on the Yuzhong Peninsula. Dongchu Section, which is part of Shanhu Park area node on the north bank of the Yangtze River, is one of“ten major public spaces” to be promoted in the main urban districts of Chongqing in 2019, and is also the first“two rivers and four banks” project in Yuzhong District. It is also the first“Two Rivers and Four Banks” project in Yuzhong District to be implemented, and has an important exemplary role.

Small nodes have been set up along the trail, for example, at the bottom of Dongshuimen Bridge, a viewing platform has been set up for the public to enjoy the scenery along the riverbank; and at the platform at the 180th elevation, relevant supporting services have been added to better meet people’s recreational and leisure needs.
Plantings in flooded shorelines in the drawdown area, re-greening within one month of flood subsidence
In addition, the project is also designed to plant reeds, cogongrass, vetiver grass and Juncus roemerianus in areas where the shoreline is prone to flooding during the flood season, ensuring that the plants will be green again within a month after the flood waters have receded.
