繁麗與毀滅——沈朝方總體藝術個展

前言
沈朝芳有兩個身份，在學校他是研究生，回到他的工作室他就是一位青年藝術家。在藝術創作方面，他十分勤奮，並且不斷的轉換創作方式尋求自己的藝術語言。這一過程是很艱辛的，也需要有強烈的探索精神。
在今天，藝術的表現方式豐富多彩，尤其青年藝術家的創作與他們所生存的時代有著一致性。如果我們把他們的生活空間看作為是一個透明的、極薄的玻璃容器，這個玻璃空間既透明又脆弱。一旦受到內部膨脹氣流的衝擊或者是來自外部力量的擠壓，它可能會破碎，這些玻璃碎片會撒落在我們生活的空間之中，成千上萬的玻璃碎片反射著自然的、生物的、社會的、心靈的、肉體的、本能的、資訊的、科學的等等的一切。它們通過反射的光線給我們視覺帶來的是絢麗多彩。他們面對這破碎的空間並不恐懼，還從中獲取他們所需要的資訊，並去構造他們的審美方法和締造一個新的生存空間，我們很難用傳統的思維去揣摩它。所以這些青年藝術家爭取到了更大的創作空間。從這一點上來説，他們的勤奮和努力是可喜的。
沈朝芳的個展，展示給我們的有裝置、影像、圖片等等。在他的作品中，可以看到由於社會壓力而從他內心中爆發出的吶喊，也可以看到精美圖片和影像所呈現的唯美的表現方式。
在這個空間中還可以看到他為拍攝影像而設計製作的服裝及道具。通過他的作品我們可以看到作品與作品之間是跨學科、跨領域的作品，這需要他掌握多種造型語言的方法和技術，同樣證明了他的勤奮。
新媒體藝術是一個對未知藝術領域進行探索的學科，同時也是通過當代的理念和尖端的科學技術拓沿審美以及體驗與知覺的藝術方式。我們深信我們的過程是艱難的，但是我們將共同努力去探求一種新的適合我們這個時代的藝術語境。

preface
Shen chaofang has two different identities. he is a graduate student in BFA and a young artist in his studio. He works hard in artistic creation and look for his own artistic expression constantly. This process is very difficult, and also needs his strong spirit of exploration.
Nowadays, artistic expressions are rich and colorful and Young artists are synchronized with their times. Their life space is like a fragile transparent glass container. It will be broken by the pressure of the internal expanding air or external forces. The glass fragments will be scattered in our lives. Thousands of them reflect something about natural, biological, social, spirit, physical, instinct, information, science and so on, which brings us various visual experiences. These young artists are not afraid of this broken space and access to the information they need to structure their aesthetic methods and a new living space which we can not study in the traditional way, so that they can strive for a greater creativity. Their efforts are exciting from this point of view.
The exhibition of
Shen chaofang show us some devices, videos and pictures etc. In his works, we can hear the whoops due to social pressure from the bottom of his heart and we can see his aesthetic expression from the beautiful pictures and videos. It also shows us the pros and costumes which was designed for the video. We can find that his works are interdisciplinary ones, which requires not only more efforts but also methods and techniques for visual language.
New media art is a subject for unknown art era and an art mode for new experience and perception brought by contemporary ideas and cutting-edge science and technology. We believe that this process is tough, but we will try our best to explore a new art context adapted to our times.
