自古以來，北斗就是中華民族的指路明燈。而今，北斗的應用已無處不在。
The Big Dipper constellation has served as a compass for the Chinese since ancient times. Today, the list of fields featuring the applications of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) can go on and on.
10月24日，第三屆北斗規模應用國際峰會在湖南株洲開幕，中國空間站天和核心艙、直升飛機、北斗無人駕駛清掃車等系列北斗應用亮相峰會，人們穿行于場景展示區，沉浸式體驗北斗産業的最新技術和豐富的高科技應用場景。
On October 24, the third International Summit on BDS Applications opened in Zhuzhou City in central China’s Hunan Province. The summit showcased a series of BDS applications, including the core module of China’s space station, helicopters, and BDS-empowered unmanned cleaning vehicles. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the exhibition area and immerse themselves in the latest technologies and diverse high-tech application scenarios of the BDS industry.
立足全球視野，聚焦規模應用。本次峰會匯聚了來自全球的政企代表、業界精英及頂尖專家。峰會設置了室內場景示範區和室外靜態展示區，展示356款北斗應用最新終端産品。
With a global perspective and a focus on large-scale applications, this summit has brought together representatives from governments, enterprises, industry elites, and top experts from around the world. It featured an indoor scenario demonstration area and an outdoor static exhibition area, showcasing 356 latest terminal products of BDS applications.
峰會上，各GNSS系統發展論壇、《北斗産業發展藍皮書（2024）》的發佈，顯示了中國的北斗系統已成為面向全球用戶提供全天候、全天時、高精度的定位、導航與授時（PNT）服務的國家重要時空基礎設施，正推動北斗規模應用加速邁進市場化、産業化、國際化。
During the summit, the GNSS Development Forum and the release of a blue book on the development of the BDS industry have highlighted that China’s BDS has become a crucial national spatial-temporal infrastructure, providing all-weather, all-time, high-precision positioning, navigation, and timing services to global users. The country is facilitating the large-scale BDS applications to be more market-oriented, maturer, and more global.
作為第三屆北斗規模應用國際峰會的東道主，株洲成為了世界目光聚焦的熱點。
As the host city of the summit, Zhuzhou has been put under the global spotlight.
近年來，株洲已建成一大批在國際國內領先的産業集群，先進製造業集群數量居全省第一，國家級科技創新平臺數量居全國地級市前列；搶先佈局水下、室內定位導航、通導遙等一體化新賽道項目，初步構建從部組件研發、整星製造、星座營運到終端設備的全産業鏈，擁有北斗産業規上企業近百家，時空資訊産業集群規模達123億元。
In recent years, Zhuzhou has already established a large number of industry clusters that are leading both domestically and internationally. It ranks first in terms of the number of advanced manufacturing clusters in the province and is among the top cities in the country in terms of the number of national-level science and technology innovation platforms.
The city is also taking the lead in deploying new market projects such as underwater positioning, indoor navigation, and the integration of communication, positioning, and remote sensing.
Zhuzhou has initially established a complete BDS industrial chain, ranging from component research and development, satellite manufacturing, constellation operation to terminal equipment. It’s home to nearly 100 BDS-related firms above the designated scale. The scale of the spatiotemporal information industry cluster has reached 12.3 billion yuan in the city.

Zhuzhou is making every effort to build itself into a demonstration city for large-scale BDS applications in all domains and scenarios. The city is promoting the intelligent development of various industries such as ensuring safety in rail transportation, building the BDS digital twin geographic information platform, developing the first unmanned farm and introducing BDS-empowered buses.
公安警用北斗裝備配備率居全國首位，全國首個“無人機+北斗”低空綜合服務中心進入常態化運營，全球首發北斗賦能“Z-1”競賽型智駕系統“天猿”也在株洲開發成功……
It ranks first in the utilization rate of BDS equipment for public security and law enforcement. The country’s first low-altitude comprehensive service center featuring the combination of unmanned aerial vehicle and BDS is under normal operation. The world’s first BDS-empowered “Zhuzhou First” competition-type intelligent driving system called “Ape Tech” has also been rolled out in Zhuzhou.
