白明的近期自然抽象油畫表現了岩石、山體、河流的神秘、變幻和美，白色、灰色乃至變化莫測的墨色成為淡雅、冷逸的主調，以往的線性風格在虛靜的意境中得到演進，巧妙地營造出富有神韻的意境。其文化抽象則是靜態的，表現了歷史的煙雲、凝固的人文地理的滄桑、斑斑駁駁的神跡，隨著視覺密度明顯加大、加深，溫潤和透明向渾厚、雄強的勢態和氣態運作。
“象罔”是白明近年創作的六十多件抽象油畫作品的集中展示。作品大致分為兩種形態，兩個相互關聯的實驗空間，前者是自然抽象，後者是文化抽象，二者相互映照，相互闡發，實則為一個有機整體的渾然生成。
白明的抽象油畫融會意象之道之後，講究氣韻和妙悟，但依然倚重感知上的本能、靈魂深處的潛意識來推進畫面，意境逐漸深遠闊大，其間隱含著大自然的神韻，充滿著天地萬象的神秘、變幻和美，日愈顯現出冷逸兼有雄渾的抒情抽象繪畫風格，這種風格趨向説到底也是個性和人格的境界表徵。

Bai Ming’s proximate natural abstract painting express that the mystery、change and beauty of rock、mountain and rivers，white、grey and enigmatical black become the main melody of elegant cool and ease, the former linear style get advancement in the whisht artistic conception and skillfully created the artistic conception full of verve. “XIANG MANG”is the concentrate exhibition of Bai Ming’s 60 works of proximate created abstract painting. The works approximately divided into two kinds of states, two interrelate experimental spaces. The former is natural abstract, the later is cultural abstract and the two shine upon each other and explain each other. In fact, they are one integrated mass of organic whole.
Introjecting the image methods, Bai Ming’s abstract painting focus on lasting appeal and savvy. But it also rely heavily on the instinct of apperceive and hidden consciousness deep in the soul to push the menu and the artistic conception deepen and broaden gradually. It contains the verve of nature, full of the mystery、change and beauty of heaven and earth and ever phenomenon, gradually visualize the frostily ease and vigorous firm emotion express abstract painting style. This painting style tendency in the final analysis is the artistic conception token of individuality and personality.
