作品簡介：浙江省溫州市的泰順縣是浙江90個縣（市、區）中最為偏遠的之一。在泰順縣司前鎮的新北村有一戶普通人家，女主人李美珍是永康外嫁到泰順的。8年前，她留意到自己兒子的同班同學中有一個孩子總是躲在學校的角落裏，不與人交流，作業也時常不完成，便好奇向班主任打聽。後來得知孩子的父母已經不在，帶大他的親人是八十多歲的奶奶。作為一個母親，她覺得這世上最可憐的孩子就是沒有父母的孩子，於是，她決定把這個孩子帶回家養，如今已經上高二了。

也正出於這種照顧，讓李美珍的故事在當地傳開，一些留守兒童陸陸續續地被送到她家裏。丈夫接工程幹，妻子在家專職照顧小孩，義務撫養這些孩子。面對外界的質疑，李美珍沒有作回應，只是專心地做自己認為對的事。八年來，家裏孩子最多的時候達到9個，李美珍給了他們精神的依靠和寄託。

Wenzhou’s Taishun County in Zhejiang Province is one of the most remote among the 90 counties (cities, districts) in Zhejiang.

In the village of Xinbei in Siqian Town, Taishun County, there is an ordinary family. The hostess, Li Meizhen, moved from Yongkang to Taishun after marriage. Eight years ago, she noticed a child in her son’s class who always hid in a corner of the school, avoiding interaction with others, and frequently left assignments incomplete. Curious, she inquired with the class teacher and learned that the child’s parents were no longer around, and his relatives were his eighty-year-old grandmother. As a mother, she felt that the most pitiful child in the world is one without parents. Therefore, she decided to bring this child home, and he has now reached the second year of high school.

It is due to this care that Li Meizhen’s story spread locally, and some left-behind children were gradually sent to her home. While her husband works on construction projects, Li Meizhen dedicates herself to taking care of the children, voluntarily raising them. Faced with external skepticism, Li Meizhen remains silent and focuses on doing what she believes is right. Over the eight years, the maximum number of children in her home reached nine, she offered them spiritual support and solace.
