Yuanji town is the east gate of Yingzhou district, Wushipu village is in the east of Yuanji town, Wangdian town is in the west of Yuanji town, Sanshilipu town is in the north of Yuanji town, and Zhuzhai town, Funan county is in the south of Yuanji town. In the late qing dynasty Yuan's family name gathered here, hence named Yuanji. Yuanji town covers an area of 40.4 square kilometers and has a population of 47,000.
Fuyang Hefei Modern Industrial Park is located here, also the transportation condition is convenient, three highways,"Fuliu","Hehuaifu","Fuxin" across the border and set the exit.
