Israel, Morocco sign first football cooperation agreement
The Israel Football Association (IFA) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) have signed a historic cooperation agreement, the IFA said on Sunday.
The agreement includes holding friendly matches between national teams in several age categories, including a possible historic visit of Israel's under-17 national team to Morocco in the coming weeks.
The agreement also includes an exchange of referees, so that Israelis will referee matches in Morocco and vice versa.
The agreement also aims to develop and promote young players, including permission for Israeli players to visit the Mohammed VI Football Academy in the city of Sale near Rabat.
