Saudi Arabia to host its third edition of Dakar Rally in January
Saudi Arabia will host its third edition of the Dakar Rally with the participation of drivers from 70 different nationalities.
Next year's race will start on January 2 in the Hail area and finish in Jeddah on January 14, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
France tops the number of participating drivers in the upcoming rally followed by Spain, Holland, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
The two latest editions, which were focused on a tour of the Saudi deserts, demonstrated the diversity of the country's landscapes, going from canyons and cliffs in the Neom region to stretches of dunes surrounding Riyadh, passing by the Red Sea coastline which sparkled with infinite shades of blue.
