Lacquer thread sculpture in Xiamen

Photo taken on Aug. 4, 2017 shows part of a lacquer thread sculpture, in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province. Lacquer thread sculpture is an art in southeast China which uses well-tempered lacquer threads to build decorative patterns. Originated in the mid-17th century, lacquer thread sculpture is listed as one of China's national intangible heritages. (Xinhua/Wei Peiquan)
