Tender green branches sprout from the orange trees, orange blossoms emerge from the tips of the branches and between the leaves, and countless flowers are left among the trees like stars left in the sky. From time to time you see bees landing on the flowers and flopping up and down and flying around. However, all this cannot hide the large red fruits that hang in between, but rather make them appear more and more striking and ripe.

Flowers and fruit in the same tree is a characteristic of late-maturing varieties and a marketing strategy. They are often sold at good prices by avoiding the peak season of navel oranges at the end of the last lunar year, choosing high-quality late-maturing varieties, taking advantage of the unique local climatic conditions and realizing flowers and fruits in the trees, so as to keep them fresh for the start of the lunar year. At the same time, farmers tend to sell large, ripe fruit before the Spring Festival; after the Spring Festival, the remaining small fruit and the fruit that has ripened at this point in the market is also a good return on the low peak, which is a good thing for farmers to wait and choose.
