蔣冠東抽象作品展現的視覺空間從最初“原始、單純”漸進到“寧靜、洗練”。過去是企圖以有形的體量表達他對“守望”的“自然”，探索及追求，蔣冠東現在的圖式不論是東方的甲骨文，還是西方邏輯公式，都是傳統經典文化符號的象徵。如今的作品則更多的讓審視者從簡而無形之中感悟他所祈求的天人合一、大象無形的境界。他藝術創新奧妙就是向傳統文化截取更多的借力，從異質回歸到原點，再從“內向超越”。

蔣冠東簡介
The visual space that Jiang Guandong’s wash painting expressed was original and unsophisticated at the beginning but evolved to be peaceful and refined. He attempted to express his nature, exploration and pursuit in the past with visible forms. Now, the images in his works are all symbols of traditional classical culture, no matter it is Eastern oracle Chinese characters, or western logical formula. His creations now make the audience sense the artistic conception of the unity of heaven and humanity and the true image that is invisible he impetrated from his simple and invisible forms. The knack of his artistic innovation is to introduce more from traditional culture, return to origin from heterogeneity and exceed from interior.
