來自瑞士的愛——藝術大師普傑援助四川災情
由中華人民共和國文化部、瑞士駐華大使館主辦，中國對外藝術展覽中心、今日美術館承辦的“普傑藝術展 08中國•北京” 已于2008年5月10日下午在今日美術館隆重開幕。藝術家首次向中國藝術愛好者全面展示他極具創造力的銅版畫及設計系列作品，藝術家在國際上的重大影響力由此轉入中國。
作為展覽主要贊助方之一的菲亞特集團，為本次展覽捐贈新型菲亞特500一輛，普傑先生將於5月16-18日在車身進行現場繪畫。原計劃繪製展出後運回瑞士拍賣，所得款項捐贈瑞士慈善機構。
然而2008年5月12日，中國四川省阿壩州汶川縣發生的芮氏8.0級強烈地震改變了藝術家的初衷。普傑先生對災情十分關心，決定將繪製的汽車在中國地區舉辦慈善義拍，並將拍得款項全部捐獻地震災區。這一想法的實現，需要拍賣機構、媒體及社會各界人士的大力響應與支援，在此誠待有意關注此事的機構或個人與我們取得聯繫，成此善舉。
繪製完成的汽車將在今日美術館1號館二層展廳展出，直至2008年5月31日，歡迎社會各界人士前往觀摩。
“Roger Pfund 08 Beijing China” exhibition opened on 10th May at Today Art Museum. The exhibition is organized by Ministry of Culture of People’s republic of China and Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing, produced by China International Exhibition Agency and Today Art Museum. His etching and design series will be exhibited in Today Art Museum.
Fiat Group is one of the main sponsor, a Fiat-500 is contributed by them and Mr. Roger Pfund will paint on the car, according the original planed, after painting, the car will be transport back to Switzerland to auction, and the fund will be donated to the Red Cross.
However, the 7.8 degree earthquake in Sichuan China changed the artist’s plan. He decided to put the car up for auction in China and donate the fund to the disaster area. To make this realized, we need the support of auction organization, media and people from all society.
After the painting, the car will be exhibited in the 2nd floor exhibition hall of building No.1, Today Art Museum.
