我第一次訪問中國是在1993年，當時去了大連，在遼寧師範大學學習了一段時間。我非常珍惜那段回憶，並將其視為我人生中最美好的時光之一。我在那裏遇到了優秀的教授，也交到了一輩子的好朋友。在訪問大連10多年後，我于2007年再次訪問了中國。我為中國發展變化所驚嘆，比如北京的一些地方已令我認不出來，變化很大，發展也很快。

The first time I visited China, it was in 1993, when I went to Dalian. And I spent some timein Liaoning Normal University. I really cherish those memories as one of the best periods in my life. I had excellent professors thereand I also got friends for a lifetime.

Next time I visited China, more than 10 yearsafter my visit to Dalian, in 2007, and I was really impressed with the changes in China with the development. For example, I barely recognized some parts of Beijing. Changes were really good and big, and the development was tremendous.
