汕頭地處北回歸線，有著豐富的紫菜資源，“萊蕪紫菜”、“南澳紫菜”、“東湖紫菜”等“汕頭品牌”紫菜聞名遐邇，在國內外市場均受消費者喜愛。據汕頭日報2017年報道，汕頭市在2017年的紫菜養殖面積已經達到8000畝，年産紫菜幹品約1400噸，産值約兩億元，形成了包括育苗、養殖、加工、銷售等較完整的紫菜産業鏈。近年來，為推進紫菜良種化養殖，建成廣東省首個省級紫菜良種場，開展了新品種引進和本地品種的改良工作。推廣深水浮筏式養殖技術，使紫菜養殖由潮間帶向淺海發展，拓展了紫菜養殖海域。在開拓加工銷售市場方面，引進和研發壇紫菜專用加工設備，提升加工效率和産品品質，開發生産多品類的紫菜産品，實現紫菜加工機械化和産品多樣化。

Shantou is located in the Tropic of Tropics， has a wealth of laver resources，”Laiwu laver”，”Nanao laver”，”Donghu laver” and other”Shantou brand” laver famous， in the domestic and foreign markets are loved by consumers． According to Shantou Daily reported in 2017， Shantou city in 2017 seaweed farming area has reached 8000 mu， an annual output of about 1400 tons of dried seaweed， the output value of about 200 million yuan， the formation of including seedling， breeding， processing， sales and other more complete seaweed industry chain． In recent years， in order to promote laver breeding， the first provincial laver breeding farm in Guangdong Province has been built， and new varieties have been introduced and local varieties improved． The deep－water floating raft culture technology was popularized to develop seaweed culture from the intertidal zone to the shallow sea， and the sea area for seaweed culture was expanded． In the development of processing and sales market， the introduction and research and development of special processing equipment for laver， improve processing efficiency and product quality， develop and produce a variety of laver products， and realize the mechanization of laver processing and product diversification．

本組照片主要展示汕頭萊蕪紫菜在種植、生産期間，以一天之中不同時間節點，紫菜工人們相對應的工作內容。直觀地向受眾展現當下汕頭海産品生産中的設施農業及農業機械化的發展現狀，側面體現出汕頭在農業發展上的大食物觀，同時借此傳遞習近平總書記“綠水青山就是金山銀山”的理念，呼籲受眾熱愛海洋、保護海洋。
