A Russian exchange student in Song－style Hanfu holds a traditional Chinese fan at the entrance of the Forbidden City， capturing a moment of cultural and historical harmony．

為了向世界更好地講述中國故事，我帶著來自俄羅斯的留學生前往北京故宮，體驗中國傳統文化。作為中國古代皇城的象徵，故宮不僅是歷史與藝術的殿堂，也是中華文化的縮影。這次旅程，我們以漢服為線索，通過鏡頭記錄她從好奇到沉浸的過程。

To better share China’s story with the world， I accompanied a Russian exchange student to Beijing’s Forbidden City to experience traditional Chinese culture． As an iconic representation of China’s ancient imperial history， the Forbidden City is not only a treasure trove of history and art but also a microcosm of Chinese culture． During this journey， we used Hanfu as a central theme to capture her transformation from curiosity to immersion through the lens．

站在故宮石欄旁，她靜靜凝望，漢服的雅致與故宮的莊嚴相映成趣，仿佛穿越回古代。

Standing by the stone railing of the Forbidden City， she gazes quietly into the distance． The elegance of Hanfu complements the grandeur of the ancient palace， as if stepping back in time．

俄羅斯留學生第一次穿上漢服時，難掩激動與驚喜。在專業老師的指導下，她選擇了一套傳統宋制漢服，搭配精緻的簪花與粧容。當她凝視鏡中的自己時，不禁感慨：“我像穿越到了古代！”這一刻，她對漢服背後的文化內涵有了更深的體會。

When the Russian student donned Hanfu for the first time， her excitement and amazement were palpable． Guided by a professional stylist， she selected a traditional Song－style Hanfu， complete with delicate floral hairpins and intricate makeup． As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror， she exclaimed，“I feel like I’ve traveled back in time！” In that moment， she gained a deeper appreciation for the cultural meaning behind Hanfu．

Bathed in sunlight among red walls and golden roofs， the combination of Hanfu and a traditional fan merges her seamlessly with the Forbidden City， embodying the grace of Chinese culture．

漫步于故宮金碧輝煌的建築之間，她時而駐足欣賞飛檐鬥拱的巧妙，時而輕撫雕欄畫棟的紋飾。我們特意在太和殿前記錄下她穿著漢服莊重站立的畫面，那種中西文化交融的對比感令人動容。在禦花園裏，輕便的日常漢服，與紅墻黃瓦相映成趣，她展開袖擺模倣古代仕女舞姿的瞬間，恰似一幅動人的畫卷。

Strolling through the Forbidden City’s resplendent architecture， she paused to admire the intricacy of the upturned eaves and caressed the carved patterns of the railings． We purposefully captured a solemn portrait of her standing in Hanfu in front of the Hall of Supreme Harmony， a striking juxtaposition of Eastern and Western cultures． In the Imperial Garden， wearing a more casual Hanfu， she twirled gracefully with her sleeves extended， mimicking the movements of ancient Chinese ladies． That fleeting moment seemed like a living painting against the backdrop of red walls and golden tiles．

Beside an ancient tree， the Russian student shyly smiles at the camera， half－hidden behind a traditional paper fan． Her beauty and the fan’s elegance highlight the subtle charm of Chinese culture．

拍攝過程中，我向她介紹了漢服的歷史淵源及其背後的禮儀文化。她認真聆聽並提出問題，不斷感嘆中國傳統文化的豐富與深邃。“文化不分國界，”她感慨道，“它是一座橋梁，連接了不同國家的人民。”

Throughout the shoot， I introduced her to the history and etiquette embedded in Hanfu． She listened intently， asking questions and marveling at the depth and richness of Chinese traditions．“Culture transcends borders，” she remarked．“It’s a bridge that connects people from different countries．”

通過這組照片，我希望展示的不僅是漢服的美，也傳遞出中外文化交流的意義。在鏡頭的記錄下，留學生的微笑與好奇心是對中國文化的最好詮釋。這場故宮之旅，不僅是一次攝影創作，更是中國故事走向世界的一小步。

Through this photo series， I hope to showcase not only the elegance of Hanfu but also the significance of cultural exchange． Captured in the lens， the student’s smile and curiosity embody the best interpretation of Chinese culture． This journey to the Forbidden City was not just a photographic endeavor but also a small yet meaningful step in sharing China’s story with the world．
