新年伊始，中國國家主席習近平在北京出席2022年世界經濟論壇視頻會議時強調，“和平發展、合作共贏，才是人間正道。”黨的十八大以來，習近平總書記著眼世界發展大勢，多次對經濟全球化作出重要論述，要求推動經濟全球化朝著更加開放、包容、普惠、平衡、共贏的方向發展。
While addressing the 2022 World Economic Forum virtual session in Beijing on January 17, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized that “the right way forward for humanity is peaceful development and win-win cooperation.” Following underlying global trends, President Xi has made many important remarks on economic globalization since 2012, calling for making economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial for all.
堅持開放融通，拓展互利合作空間
Open wider and expand the space for mutually beneficial cooperation
各國削減壁壘、擴大開放，國際經貿就能打通血脈；如果以鄰為壑、孤立封閉，國際經貿就會氣滯血瘀，世界經濟也難以健康發展。各國應該堅持開放的政策取向，旗幟鮮明反對保護主義、單邊主義，提升多邊和雙邊開放水準，推動各國經濟聯動融通，共同建設開放型世界經濟。
Efforts to reduce tariff barriers and open wider will lead to interconnectivity in economic cooperation and global trade, while engaging in beggar-thy-neighbor practices, isolation and seclusion will only result in trade stagnation and an unhealthy world economy. Countries need to pursue an open policy, explicitly oppose protectionism and unilateralism, and strive to raise the level of opening up at both bilateral and multilateral levels, so that we can connect our economies and build an open world economy.
堅持包容普惠，推動各國共同發展
Pursue inclusive development for the benefit of all
在經濟全球化深入發展的今天，弱肉強食、贏者通吃是一條越走越窄的死衚同，包容普惠、互利共贏才是越走越寬的人間正道。各國應該超越差異和分歧，發揮各自優勢，推動包容發展，攜手應對全人類共同面臨的風險和挑戰。
In a world of deeper economic globalization, the pursuit of “the law of the jungle” and “winner-takes-all” leads nowhere. Inclusive growth for all is surely the right way forward. Countries need to rise above differences and leverage their respective strengths to pursue inclusive growth in the face of common risks and challenges.
堅持創新引領，開闢增長源泉
Pursue innovative growth and tap new sources of growth
創新是第一動力。只有敢於創新、勇於變革，才能突破世界經濟發展瓶頸。造福人類是科技創新最強大的動力。在休戚與共的地球村，共用創新成果，是國際社會的一致呼聲和現實選擇。
Innovation is the premier engine for development. Only with bold innovation and reform can we break through the bottleneck in global growth. The wellbeing of humanity is the biggest driving force for this. In our interconnected global village, to share the fruits of innovation is the common aspiration and natural choice of the global community.
堅持與時俱進，完善全球治理
Advance with the times and improve global governance
我們要加強多邊貿易體制，對世界貿易組織進行必要改革。改革的目的是與時俱進，使得世界貿易組織能夠更加有效地踐行其開放市場、促進發展的宗旨。改革的結果應當有利於維護自由貿易和多邊主義，收窄發展鴻溝。
We need to strengthen the multilateral trading system and pursue WTO reform as necessary. The goal of this reform should enable the WTO to advance with the time so that it will be better able to perform its mandate of enhancing market openness and boosting development; and such reform should be conducive to upholding free trade and multilateralism and narrowing the development gap.
堅持夥伴精神，妥善處理分歧
Forge closer partnerships and resolve differences properly
我們處在不同發展階段，在一些問題上存在利益差異和觀點分歧很正常。關鍵是要弘揚夥伴精神，本著相互尊重、相互信任態度，平等協商、求同存異、管控分歧、擴大共識。大國之間如果能做到這一點，不僅符合自身利益，也有利於世界和平與發展。
As G20 members are in different stages of development, it is only natural that we may have diverging interests and views on some issues. What is important is that we should promote our partnership and respect and trust each other, and in that spirit, engage in consultation as equals, manage differences while seeking common ground, and build greater consensus. If this can be achieved between major countries, it will serve not only our own interests but also enhance global peace and development.
