中國國家鐵路集團有限公司近日發佈鐵路先行規劃綱要。綱要提出，到2035年，全國鐵路網達到20萬公里左右，其中高鐵7萬公里左右，進一步擴展鐵路網路覆蓋範圍、提升運作速度，打造鐵路強國。

到2050年，全面建成更高水準的現代化鐵路強國，全面服務和保障社會主義現代化強國建設。

習近平總書記指出高鐵動車體現了中國裝備製造業水準，在“走出去”、“一帶一路”建設方面也是“搶手貨”。

China aims to raise its global competitiveness in the railway sector by expanding its railway networks with wider coverage and higher speeds, according to the country's top railway operator. The nation plans to build 200,000 kilometers of railway by the end of 2035, including about 70,000 km of high-speed tracks, according to the latest national railway plan, issued by China State Railway Group.

By 2050, we plan to build China into a powerhouse in the railway sector at a higher level, and fully served and ensured the building of China into a modern socialist country.

President Xi Jinping said that the high-speed train is a showcase of China's equipment manufacturing capability and a much sought-after commodity in the country's "Go Global" and the Belt and Road initiatives.
