在2019年政府工作報告中，李克強總理指出在過去的一年中，發展新動能快速成長。嫦娥四號等一批重大科技創新成果相繼問世。新興産業蓬勃發展，傳統産業加快轉型升級。大眾創業萬眾創新深入推進，日均新設企業超過1.8萬戶，市場主體總量超過1億戶。新動能正在深刻改變生産生活方式、塑造中國發展新優勢。

李克強總理還強調要堅持創新引領發展，培育壯大新動能。發揮我國人力人才資源豐富、國內市場巨大等綜合優勢，改革創新科技研發和産業化應用機制，大力培育專業精神，促進新舊動能接續轉換。

In today’s program, we will talk about “new growth drivers”.

According to the 2019 Report on the Work of the Government, Premier Li Keqiang has pointed out that new growth divers grew rapidly in the year 2018. A number of major scientific and technological innovations were made, like the Chang’e-4 lunar probe. Emerging industries thrived and traditional industries saw faster transformation and upgrading. Business startups and innovation continued to surge nationwide, with an average of over 18000 new businesses opening daily and the total number of market entities passing the 100 million mark. New growth drivers are now profoundly changing our mode of production and way of life, creating new strengths for China’s development.

Premier Li has also stressed out that we will continue to pursue innovation-driven development and foster new growth drivers. We will make full use of our country’s combined strengths-its abundant human resources and talent and vast domestic market, reform and develop new mechanisms for scientific and technological R&D and industrial application, and foster professionalism, to speed up the replacement of old growth divers with new ones.
