“Yandang Maofeng” Tea wins regional public brand recommendation at 2024 China good green tea conference

The 2024 China Good Green Tea Conference and the 16th Guizhou Tea Industry Expowas held on April 8, 2024. Among numerous teabrands in attendance,“Yandang Maofeng”Tea, Yueqing City’s renowned tea brand, stood out and was awarded the regional public brand recommendation by the conference, reaffirming its exceptional tea quality and brand influence.

The conference served not only as a showcase for tea brands,but also as a platform for the exchange of tea culture. Five tea brands selected by the Yueqing Agriculture and Rural Bureau, including“Yanbaiyun”(from Yandang Mountain tea plantation),“Lvfu”(from Lvfu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.),“Fangxin Lvyan”(from Fangxin Lvyan Tea Co., Ltd.),“Yanshan Longqiu”(from Yandang Mountain Specialties Co., Ltd.)and“Lvxi”(Yandang Maofeng Tea from Lvxi Tea Cooperatives),were all recognized as 2024 China good green tea brands after a rigorous evaluation process. These brands have now been listed on the prestigious China good green tea map.

The unique natural environment of Yueqing has played a crucial role in cultivating the distinct flavor of Yandang MaofengTeaknown for its delicate fragrance and sweetness. Over the past decade, Yandang Maofeng Teahas garnered numerous awards in both domestic and international tea competitionsand expos, earning hundreds of gold medals. In 2018, it was designated as a geographical indication productof China’sagricultural productsand received the title of Famous Chinese Teas. Therefore, Yueqing City was honored as the hometown of Chinese tea culture.Yueqing has been actively promoting its tea culture since 2023 through various events such as the 7th and 8th Tea Culture Festival and the“Rural Commercial Bank”Cup Famous Tea Tasting, and Have Tea on a Ching Ming Spring Day, keeping its tea brands among China’s top 100 geographical indication agricultural products (tea) brands. In 2024,Yandang MaofengTeahas been publicized and promoted in ZMGNews and other official media for 3 sessions.What’s more, itwas selected as the agricultural brand of Zhejiang Province Agricultural Brand Catalog, listed on the list of top 100 local specialtiesof Zhejiang Province, and included in the Chinese Agricultural Publishing House’s Chinese Famous Tea Series - Green Tea Volume.
